R Litter - March 15, 2019
All these puppies are sold and in their forever homes.
Dyna is the result of a breeding between two extremely talented hunting dogs that also prove their train-ability, drive and cooperation as highly titled test dogs. You can see her sire (VC Blackridge Apollo MH – Mack) and dam (VC Outlanders Keep One Eye Open MH – Kate) at Blackridge Kennel – German Shorthaired Pointers. The owner of Mack and Kate, Jake Bean, contacted me for a puppy out of my K litter and he took Kate home with him to Pennsylvania. I had always loved Tim Clark’s “Tref” (Mack’s sire) and was never able to breed to him. I had heard that Mack was one of Tell’s best sons and told Jake that if he ever bred Kate to Mack…I wanted a puppy and Dyna has not disappointed! In the house, Dyna is extremely quiet. She never jumps on guests, but does make sure to politely get attention. She is great with other dogs and very gentle with children. She is also a cooperative, medium ranging dog in the field. Though she is outstanding at covering a field, you never have to keep track of her…she will keep track of you. One of her best qualities is her retrieve. In GSPs, we have worked so hard on breeding the soft mouths that many GSPs tend to do a lot of dropping of game…not Dyna. She has the firm grip inherited from her Great-Grandfather Enzo and Grandmother, Flicker. When she retrieves, she comes back to you as fast as she went out to get it.
Eli comes from a NAVHDA Natural Ability Breeder’s Award litter. His sire is NO MARS MACK V. HAUSS, UT PZI, MH and his dam is PRAIRIE WINDS PENNIES FROM HEAVEN, UT PZII (Headee). Headee is a littermate to VC Prairie Wind’s Razor’s Edge MH (Mickey).
Eli has inherited the style, drive and endurance of his mother’s line and the train-ability and water love from his sire’s line. He has that “Enzo nose” that, if you have ever seen it, you would know what I am talking about. It is truly phenomenal. He brings the best of two worlds to this breeding…the Field Trial dogs that excel at NAVHDA, and the NAVHDA dogs that excel at style and drive. He is a foot-hunter’s dream dog who will work close and for you in the forests and smaller fields, yet cover the big prairie and hold birds for you to get them to the gun. At the same time, he is a sweet and quiet house dog who was easy to train and title in NAVHDA. He will be going to the 2021 NAVHDA Invitational.
